We are so blessed to have a place in the mountains to which we can sneak away. Our family has a nice little simple cabin that we get to use. The kids get to run around outside like kids would be able to do in a country (non-city) home.
This particular visit was a little difficult for me. I was stricken pretty heavily with Peritonsillar abscesses--a complication of tonsillitis. It was extremely difficult for me to eat anything or swallow. Leslie, being the great wife that she is, stepped up terrifically, allowing me to rest and helped the kids have a great memory.
