To make room for new toys from Christmas, we packed up some of the toys the kids don't play with as much to donate to our local YMCA. They can always use some toys.

 

This was the last game for the season. The girls played with a ton of energy and did a fantastic job.

Les coordinated Operation Christmas Child for our Sunday School class & home fellowship group at our church and for our family. She took the kids shopping to choose gifts for a child in a poverty-stricken nation, and each of the older kids filled a shoebox.

Elijah had the great idea to draw a picture of our family, and tell a little bit about himself.

Of course the girls had to do the same!

They all had a really good time blessing those who are less fortunate

 

I've been teaching Elijah about bread starters and how they work. Here we are making our first loaf. It turned out pretty good -maybe more pictures later.

 

The kids had a little concert with each of them singing a different song at the same time. They had a lot of energy that night and it was quite a show. I was going to post video of it, but the audio was quite painful, so I decided to spare you!

 

Most of my pictures didn't come out very good. Very blurry. This is disappointing, because Rebekah made her first goal in this game. We are very proud of her.
