Look closely, I think the girls might have something on their nose, but I'm not sure. For the most part, all the pictures I put on this blog will enlarge when you click on them.

As my wife's husband, I sometimes find it necessary to tell my wife to take a hike. Yup, it is true and here is an example. Les just seemed to need a little quiet time - she wasn't getting quietness at home. Sensing this need, while she stood there in laughter & astonishment, I dropped on her the things she needed to survive on her own for a few hours. When she came back, she seemed quite thankful for her "away time". I love my wife!

Yes, Elijah got a switch and a box of coal in his stocking. Actually, the coal was very yummy. Oh, we did give him a few other little gifts that would have gone in the stocking if there was room.

We were not picking a tree, but we went with some friends to help them get one. Maybe we really went so we could play on the hay wall.

Update (12/26/2006): Lots of pictures have been added documenting up to Christmas. You will need to scroll down to see them all. You might even have to click on "November" on the left navigation.
If you haven't figured it out, my life got a little busy. I had quite a few things needing my time. Unfortunately, picture blogging fell completely off that list.

Items on my list

  • Love my family - cheesy but true
  • Primary job is to work on www.silverandfit.com
  • Secondary job is to build www.hcssd.org
  • Take out the recycling
  • Fix the guest bathroom's toilet
  • And more
So here I am now. I have loaded a billion pictures from our cameras and I am working through adding them to the blog. We had some terrific events occur, and I did post pictures about those events (i.e. my beautiful wife turned 3_ this year and we celebrated 9 terrific years of marriage).

I still have pictures from our Thanksgiving trip that I know you are dying to see and hear all about. I will be adding pictures to show our vacation from 11/18 to 11/27. That means you will have to scroll down to these new posts since my blog is displaying the posts ordered by date. As I am adding pictures, my beautiful wife will follow up with some text to explain these pictures. Don't be alarmed if the post indicates it is from me, but the text on the screen is not the normal jibber jabber that I write (just like this whole post). Instead you will be honored with the high quality and style from my first-born Chica.

The San Diego Wild Animal Park annually has the Festival of Lights. Time to go through the park at night. The park has some great family activities like a maze, cookie decorations and a snow hill.

My wife Leslie is the best person I know. She is my best friend who I always want to be with and go on adventures with. She is the best mom who always puts our kids' needs above her own and takes them on adventures of life. She is beautiful, fun, and brilliant. She knows how to make me laugh. She knows every correct way to use an apostrophe. She is permanently my wife. I love her and it is her birthday.
Les wanted to go to Corvette Diner in Hillcrest. This place knows how to make a birthday girl feel special.
